What is a guarantor on DR Rent?
A guarantor agrees to cover the rent if the tenant cannot pay. On DR Rent, guarantors are a fully integrated role with their own secure dashboard.
How do I accept a guarantor invitation?
When a tenant names you as their guarantor, you'll get an invitation to confirm and link it to your DR Rent account.
What can a guarantor see?
Guarantors only ever see information the tenant has explicitly granted — never private documents or sensitive reports.
Will I be told if rent falls into arrears?
If the tenant grants arrears access, you'll receive clear alerts when rent is missed or the account falls behind.
Can a tenant remove my guarantor access?
Yes. Access is permission-based and the tenant remains in control throughout the tenancy.
