Unwanted conduct related to a protected characteristic.

Victimisation
Treating someone unfairly because they raised a discrimination complaint.
6. Property Listings
Users must not publish listings containing discriminatory wording.
Examples of prohibited wording:
- "Whites only"
- "No Asians"
- "Christians only"
- "No Muslims"
- "No disabled people"
- "Women only"
- "Men only"
- "British tenants only"
Such listings may be removed immediately.
7. Tenant Selection
Landlords and agents remain responsible for their own tenancy decisions.
However, decisions must not be based upon protected characteristics.
DR Rent does not permit discriminatory tenant selection practices.
8. Contractor Selection
Contractors must not:
- Refuse work based on protected characteristics.
- Harass customers.
- Discriminate against users.
Contractor accounts may be suspended where discrimination is identified.
9. Acceptable Property Suitability Criteria
The following may be lawful where relevant to property suitability:
- Affordability requirements
- Income verification
- Guarantor requirements
- Occupancy limits
- Pet policies
- Smoking policies
- Property suitability factors
- Licensing restrictions
These criteria must not be used as a disguise for unlawful discrimination.
10. Platform Filters
DR Rent may provide search filters relating to:
- Budget
- Move date
- Property size
- Pet ownership
- Smoking preferences
- Property requirements
- Accessibility features
DR Rent will not knowingly provide filters based upon protected characteristics.
11. Profile Information
Users must not include discriminatory content within:
- Profiles
- Listings
- Messages
- Reviews
- Advertisements
- Uploaded documents
DR Rent reserves the right to remove content without notice.
12. Messaging & Communications
Discriminatory communications are prohibited.
Examples include:
- Racist remarks
- Religious abuse
- Homophobic comments
- Sexist comments
- Disability-related abuse
Messages may be reviewed where complaints arise.
13. AI Matching Systems
DR Rent may use automated systems to assist with:
- Property matching
- Tenant matching
- Lead recommendations
- Contractor recommendations
DR Rent will not knowingly design systems that:
- Profile users unlawfully.
- Rank users based upon protected characteristics.
- Automatically reject users based upon protected characteristics.
14. Reporting Discrimination
Users may report discrimination through:
- Platform reporting tools
- Support services
- Complaint procedures
Reports should include:
- Details of the incident
- Dates
- Supporting evidence where available
15. Investigations
DR Rent may investigate:
- Complaints
- Listings
- Messages
- User activity
- Uploaded content
Investigations may involve:
- Reviewing records
- Reviewing audit logs
- Requesting further information
16. Enforcement Actions
Where discrimination is identified, DR Rent may:
- Remove content
- Issue warnings
- Suspend accounts
- Restrict Platform access
- Permanently terminate accounts
- Report matters to authorities where appropriate
Serious breaches may result in immediate account termination.
17. Retaliation
Users must not retaliate against individuals who:
- Raise concerns
- Submit complaints
- Cooperate with investigations
Retaliation may result in enforcement action.
18. False Complaints
Users must not knowingly submit false discrimination complaints.
DR Rent may take action against users who abuse reporting systems.
19. Training & Awareness
DR Rent may periodically:

- Improve moderation systems
- Improve detection tools
- Update Platform controls
These measures support compliance and user protection.
20. Moderation Rights
DR Rent reserves the right to:
- Review content
- Remove content
- Restrict functionality
- Suspend accounts
These actions may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect users.
21. Limitation of Liability
While DR Rent actively seeks to prevent discrimination, we cannot guarantee that all users will comply with this Policy.
Users remain responsible for their own conduct.
