Open Homes workspaceAbout Stratford
Stratford in east London grew around a crossing of the River Lea and expanded rapidly with railways, industry and suburban housing. Its modern identity changed dramatically with the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which transformed former industrial land into Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, new homes, Westfield Stratford City and major transport improvements. Stratford is now one of London’s best-connected centres, with Underground, rail, DLR, Overground and Elizabeth line services, supporting intense rental demand from students, professionals and families.
