Open Homes workspaceAbout Rickmansworth
Rickmansworth is a Hertfordshire town where the Rivers Colne, Chess and Gade meet, giving it a landscape of waterways, lakes and canal paths. It developed around milling, agriculture and later the Grand Junction Canal, now the Grand Union Canal. The Metropolitan line and Chiltern rail services turned it into a commuter town with a strong suburban rental market. Aquadrome nature reserve, historic churches and access to the Chilterns make Rickmansworth attractive to families and professionals.
