Open Homes workspaceAbout Leeds
Leeds grew wealthy on the wool and textile trade and became a major Victorian industrial and commercial city in West Yorkshire, reflected in grand arcades such as the County and Victoria Quarter and the ornate Town Hall. Once a centre of tailoring and clothing manufacture, it is now one of the UK's largest financial and legal hubs outside London and a major university city. With a lively centre, redeveloped waterfront and strong rail connections, Leeds offers renters a busy market popular with students and professionals.
