About Cardiff

Cardiff, the capital of Wales, grew from a small town into one of the world's greatest coal-exporting ports in the 19th century, shipping coal from the South Wales valleys through its docks at Butetown. Cardiff Castle, with Roman and Norman origins and lavish Victorian interiors, sits at its heart. The old docklands have been transformed into Cardiff Bay, home to the Senedd (Welsh Parliament) and the Wales Millennium Centre. A sporting and cultural capital with the Principality Stadium, Cardiff offers renters a compact, affordable and growing market.
