Aylesbury is the historic county town of Buckinghamshire, with a market square and old streets that have been used as a filming location for their Tudor and Georgian character. It gave its name to the Aylesbury duck, once bred in large numbers in the town, and to the Aylesbury Prune. The town has grown significantly in recent decades and is home to the Waterside theatre. With road links via the A41 and rail services towards London Marylebone, Aylesbury offers renters a mix of historic centre and modern housing developments.
