About Andover

Andover is a Hampshire town with Saxon roots, recorded in the Domesday Book and long known as a market town on routes between London, Salisbury and the West Country. It grew with coaching, agriculture and later military connections, especially through nearby army bases on Salisbury Plain. The River Anton, old mills and the town’s market heritage remain part of its character. Today Andover has rail links to London Waterloo, good A303 access and a practical rental market for families, commuters and service personnel.
